In addition, it’s interesting to find that there’s a large memorial Chedi here that houses the remains of the Na Takuathung family, the ones responsible for the construction of Wat Suwan Kuha. 

Finally, don’t forget to take lots of pictures, as the temple is embellished with beautiful Buddha images and diverse ceramics.

24. Stroll through Khlong Bangla Park

Khlong Bangla Park is a popular beach volleyball location where you may test your skills against locals and other tourists. Everyone is welcome to try out beach volleyball here since the Phuket Beach Volleyball Club sets up nets every day.

There are also some interesting sights here, like the massive golden sculpture that resembles a cross between a dragon and a sizable serpent.

It’s also a great place to go for a walk or hangout with your travel companions, especially if you’re staying at one of the nearby hotels. 

Finally, Khlong Bangla Park has several restaurants and shops that are perfect for grabbing a bite or picking up some souvenirs.

25. Hike in Khao Sok National Park

However, the park only has a few clearly marked self-guided paths. So, for longer hikes, they require paying expert guides. 

For a half-day climb, guides charge THB 600, and they can be booked at the Visitors’ Center, through private travel agencies, or at the hotel.

The trails at Khao Sok National Park vary in difficulty, from moderate to challenging. It’s also worth noting that, although tigers and boa constrictors rarely pose a threat, visitors may encounter aggressive monkeys, so take care!
