Enjoy a cocktail bar and day-to-night rooftop garden party in a tropical environment with themes of an outdoor American BBQ at Bar.Yard.

We noticed that the music and atmosphere of the pub change throughout the day, which is something we appreciate because it gives visitors a unique experience, depending on what time they visit. 

Bar.Yard focuses primarily on music and has an amazing lineup of well-known DJs who play anything. Since the DJ section is close to the seats, it is easy to converse with them or request certain tunes.

You can choose from tropical and tiki flavors, including the bar’s standout drinks like the Purple Pineapple, Coconut Collins, and Passion of the Fruit. 

Additionally, to cater to everyone, there’s a variety of local and foreign craft beers, wines, traditional tiki cocktails, and champagne you can also choose from if you want something familiar or to try a new drink.

You can also find freshly grilled barbecue menus on the bar.

Another thing that we love about Bar.Yard is its special promotions. Every Sunday, starting at 250+ THB, customers can enjoy savory bites and fresh seafood.

However, we find the bar to be fairly small and packed. Nevertheless, it’s appropriate for social eating, casual gatherings, and parties. 

We are also a bit dissatisfied that it doesn’t have air conditioning units. But there are a lot of fans, so there’s still cold air circulating the area.

Another drawback that we noticed is the bar’s reservation process. We reserved a table and got there on time, but still, we waited for almost an hour to be seated because the bar was packed.

CHAR Bangkok is a magnificent dining location offering cutting-edge grills and sophisticated cuisines. It has a restaurant, private dining, and a rooftop bar. 

You can find it on the 26th level of the building and start your night actively. It comes with a retractable rooftop that we find very convenient because you can still enjoy the bar even when it rains.

The rooftop bar at CHAR offers a peppy social environment and stunning views of Bangkok’s skyline. Particularly, what got us hooked was its amazing view during sunsets.

The atmosphere is very nice, which we love because it’s not too crowded. You can still enjoy a sense of privacy here.

The food menu and drinks were delicious. The mixologists prepared excellent cocktails too.

The DJs play an energetic mashup of lounge, downtempo, and electro music while you drink redesigned versions of traditional beverages.

During our stay, we didn’t have that many problems with the service since the staff was polite and accommodating. 

Because it has a small patio, we do recommend that you call first if you’re thinking about throwing a small party at CHAR to ensure the bar gives you enough space to work with. 

We think the prices of the food and drinks here were too high compared to other rooftop bars in the city. 

So, if you want to experience going to a rooftop bar but don’t have much of a budget, we recommend going elsewhere.

It provides a wide selection of meals, including cuisines from India, Mexico, and Italy. 

Similar to other rooftop bars, the entertainment includes a variety of DJs spinning upbeat tunes. The fact that 1826 throws themed evenings every day is another feature we enjoyed.

We had no issues with the bar staff’s service because they were kind and friendly. 

However, the time it took them to serve our food was slower than we expected. It took almost half an hour for them to serve one dish without giving us complimentary dishes to satiate our hunger in the meantime. 

1826 also has a unique promotion in which you can drink as much as you want in 100 minutes for only 999 THB. This can be a good offer if you’re in the mood to drink.

We enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop, which we think is a great plus. It’s certainly great for visitors who are into the view more than the menu.

However, we find the bar a bit small for gatherings and parties. Also, the rates were a little pricey considering the quality and servings of the bar’s food.

Yào Restaurant & Rooftop Bar is Bangkok’s first multi-level Chinese-themed restaurant.

It serves a variety of Chinese dishes that are prepared with a modern twist by native Chinese head chef Bruce Hui.

It offers spectacular views of the city’s cityscape while serving delectable dim sum, contemporary Chinese food, and drinks with an oriental flavor.

You can also enjoy privacy by reserving one of the restaurant’s five private dining rooms, which can hold between 6 and 20 people. 

If you prefer to party and mingle with other guests, the rooftop bar provides ice-cold drinks, light snacks, and stunning nighttime views of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River.

The selection of drinks is excellent. You get to pick from a wide range of cocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Another thing that we liked about Yào is that it offers special promotions every month where you get to enjoy discounted prices. 

However, we noticed some drawbacks, one of which is the bar’s reservation process. We arrived on time and still had to wait for more than half an hour because there were no available seats.

Also, the food and drinks are quite expensive. So, we recommend going elsewhere if you’re on a budget.
